The first Div. B set of rankings for the young '05 campaign are out!

The first regular season MDIA Division B Top 25 Poll Presented by Shamrock Lacrosse has the Calvin College Knights at the top of the rankings. Shamrock Lacrosse, an innovative lacrosse company based in Hillside, New Jersey is the presenting sponsor for this year's Division A and Division B Top 25 polls announced bimonthly on USLIA.com once again this season.
Calvin opened the young season with 2 road victories at Marquette, Michigan. The Knights received a poll high nine first place votes.
St. John's University (MN) from the Upper Midwest Lacrosse League (UMLL) secured second place in the rankings. The Johnnies (two 1st place votes) opened their season with 3 road victories against Lone Star Alliance (LSA) competition in Arlington, Texas earlier this month.
Fort Lewis College out of Durango, Colorado was third in the latest Division B Poll. The Skyhawks open their '05 campaign at Arizona State on March 6th.
No. 4 Claremont College from the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) knocked off Biola University to earn their first Division B win of the season back on February 5th. Recent games have been postponed for Claremont in California due to the recent rains and mudslides. Claremont trips to Northern California this weekend to take on two Division A WCLL rivals (St. Mary's and California).
Utah Valley State College out of Orem, Utah has the No. 5 slot in the Division B rankings. The Wolverines host Wyoming this weekend to open the season.
No. 6 University of San Diego (1 - 0) received one first place vote. The Toreros host No. 7 California, Irvine on March 5th in a key WCLL Division B matchup.
UC-Irvine, Pacific Lutheran, Texas-Arlington, and Emory University round out the top 10. No. 13 Creighton University from the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference (GRLC) received the final first place vote in the poll.
The next regular season MDIA Division B Top 25 Poll Presented by Shamrock Lacrosse will be announced on USLIA.com on Thursday, March 10th.

The 2004-2005 season is the 9th year of Intercollegiate Associates competition. The USL Men's Division Intercollegiate Associates consists of over 190 collegiate lacrosse clubs in nine conferences across the United States & Canada. The season concludes with the annual MDIA national championship tournament, scheduled for the National Sports Center (NSC) in Blaine, Minnesota May 10 – 14th, 2005.
