Apr. 10th, 2003 - No. 1 Sonoma State knocks off Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Will Burson scored three goals and set up two more on Thursday, fueling Sonoma State University to a 9-8 victory over Colorado College in men's lacrosse action at CC's Washburn Field.

Sonoma State, one of the nation's top-ranked collegiate club teams, improved to 13-1 with the triumph as Ben Alexander and Jamie Dale each added a pair of goals.

Colorado College, 4-4, got a pair of tallies from junior midfielder Tony Sorci, as well as three assists from senior attacker Brady Iandiorio. The Tigers outshot SSU, 44-30.
